Late out as usual. Took Lola to the dog-run at Mt. Merrion again then drove over Pigeon House Road way, out by the Shelly Beds. Very summery now with bright yellow mustardweed foaming above the new barrier on that stretch, and clumps of what looks like a kind of

Very busy too, paragliders raising their colourful little eyebrows and the first car park around the bend fuller than I ever recall seeing. A father para-glider (above, holding the dark quarter-moon) appeared to have taken his little boy with him, showing him the cords.

It would have been great to let Lola out for a run (though she might have caused a bit of chaos, barking at all the large billowy things), but Sam called to say she'd be ordering Chinese, so I headed back into the tail end of the rush hour/s.
