My Norfolk Lavender

It's just opened this morning after a wonderful downpour last night. I'm not good with lavender ( silly eh! ) probable cos I put so much muck into the soil for my Roses.
I have admired for years lavender in a garden around the corner from me. It's cut right down after flowering and comes back wonderfully year after year. I chatted with the woman there tother day and she happily told me how she did it : no food, no water, a good cut back.
