Deserved Treat

After a hard day’s walking one of our somewhat self indulgent treats is home made gluten-free scone, whipped cream and local jam for afternoon tea. Which would be a fairly normal thing if it was say, about 4 o’clock, but our awareness of time is usually way off kilter when we’re down here and this was taken at about 6:30 in the evening. Dinner was under construction about an hour later, but there are no schedules to be adhered to so one is bothered. Jam and cream on scone and a mug of tea. Yum
