Results!

After a little bit over 1 year of work, the results are coming in and all the puzzle pieces can be put together. What a wonderful feeling! At the moment, I am analyzing all data and putting everything together in two reports and a conference talk. This is one of the figures. Every tip of a line is a unique bacterial 'barcode', say a unique bacteria, found in one of the mealybugs that are tended by ants. The colors refer to different ant species and you clearly see that the bacteria differ per ant species the mealybugs were found with. This is very interesting for sure and it makes for pretty figures as well
