Accrington Railway Station Food Growing Project.

The Prospects Foundation, based in Broadway Accrington, have been growing food at the railway station in raised beds, for several years now.
On my way home from a course at the Womens' Centre, I decided to blip the various plants and they are all doing well, without any sign of slug pellets or snails and slugs. Well done Ian and team!
The collage shows cabbage, carrot tops, chard, fennel, onions, peas and juicy strawberries.
Passengers are able to help themselves to the produce and enroll on future food growing courses.
The weather has been cloudy and close and a sticky 22 degrees.
