Meet Spike

Spike is a colourful character whose hobbies include eating aphids, posing for photographs on raspberry leaves, and being slightly out of focus. When he grows up, Spike wants to be a harlequin ladybird and start his own business running an artisan bakery where he can charge four quid for a loaf of bread.

Earlier in the spring we had a few two spot and seven spot ladybirds in the garden but now they've gone and it's all harlequins.
