The final appointment

... with P.
One half of my time at work is to be a guide or tutor for my bright, young colleagues. Today it was a special day, it was the last session with P. Within less than a year he is going to be a general practitioner/specialist family doctor. It takes at least 6 years of postgraduate training to get specialized.

P. is a special man, he's a very valuable colleague and friend to me, I might say, but most of all, he's a devoted husband and father of two charming boys. I don't know many colleagues who can deal with both of these tasks so well, I do admire him a great deal. After summer he's working in hospital and after that he is coming back to work with us, even though he would make a very successful career anywhere else, let's see... I don't need to say he's highly respected by the patients and work mates.

M. is the other colleague who is going to be a GP one day and she is a blipper too!
