Very excited this afternoon- an email came through from BT saying that there would be super fast broadband coming to our village as part of the government scheme to provide broadband for rural areas. ( I live 5 minutes from a motorway junction- so it's not exactly in the back of beyond.....) Upon further research, my hopes were dashed- "not every street in the postcode will be provided with this service...." Oh well- we were nearly able to join the modern world....
