Aspidistra

This is my Mother's aspidistra. A hardy plant, they have to be to survive in this house. It sits on the kitchen windowsill which only gets direct sunshine for 2 weeks either side of the summer solstice. Our lives sometimes feel like that too, but the sun will come round again and faith is there to sustain us when things seem gloomy and dark.
