Birthday BBQ

One of our good friends was 40 today so we were invited over to help christen the new BBQ he got for his birthday. As it was a school night it was a very pleasant low key affair but there was some champers open and it was complete luxury to sit in their garden in the evening sun, sipping a cheeky champers and catching up with the gossip while waiting for the BBQ dinner to cook.

Today's blip is of the birthday cake. It is a remake of the same birthday cake that the birthday boy had when he was 6. It depicts cowboys and Indians slugging it out in a chocolate cake fort!

Apparently, little plastic cowboys and Indians are very hard to come by these days. The ones on this cake had to be shipped in specially from china. That is love for you!
