There were 5 sandhill cranes following us today at the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in southern B. C. today. They are so tame there that they will gladly eat out of your hand if you have bought some seed at the office. The geese and ducks and their new ones were abundant. After a great lunch at Steveston on the waterfront we headed back for home.
