Brig

This is the brig Stavros S Niarchos approaching Stromness. It is, according to Wiki, a British training vessel.
I was out at Quholm as a bird had appeared that I'd never seen- a woodchat shrike. I managed to see it then headed up past Cauldhame farm and Mousland onto the cliffs. Lots of fledglings about, ringed plover, wheatear, gulls etc.
I saw this ship approach and photographed it several times as it moved into Stromness. More here.
