Then down came the rain...
It was truly 'scorchio' all day today. The playground duty was the best bit!
I had a historical re-enactment lesson (Peasants' revolt) outside in the afternoon, which meant that the Year 4's could legitimately let off some steam and be revolting.
Every year it takes them several sessions to agree to get on with each other in their groups and finally be ready for me to film them! I have to 'cast' them myself or there would be tantrums for ever! I always show them last years efforts - with a challenge to be better!
Lots of 'personalities' coming to the fore!
Then I had a lot of nonsense to get into the house because an unmentionable son had locked me out having borrowed my keys...
As I was cooking I watched the clouds roll in and the sky darken. I did take some sky pictures but they didn't really look as impressive as they had in real life. Then it poured down - see blip! No thunder and lightning though, which surprised me, but it did clear the air nicely.
