Suffolk Skies

In Suffolk all skies are beautiful, but this one is particularly so, don't you think?

We walked five miles under cool, dappled skies with the birds a singing and the poppies a blooming and the world was a lovely place to be.

My father used to sing a song which went something like this:

Things are looking up
No matter what they say
Things are getting better better better every day.
The clouds are floating high
High up in the sky
Bluebirds are singing today
Hurrah hurrah hurrah
Hurray hurray hurray
Things are getting better better better every day

That's today that is.
