Picnic in the Meadows

Ed, Orla and Conor came to pick me up from Pollock Halls this morning (how weird was that experience, staying there again 21 years after I first arrived as a student!) and we headed to the Meadows to play on the super-duper playground and have a picnic lunch. After a wee runaround on the grass, we headed over to the museum. It was really quiet, so we had our run of the place. It tired Conor out but unfortunately the car journey home was plenty of time for a nice restorative sleep so he was very late to bed.
