Short Back and Sides

Last year bought bad news that the Horse Chestnut tree by the bridge was in ill health and had to be cut down.
The tree is one of the oldest in Bakewell and would have changed the outlook by the historic bridge dramatically.
It looked alright to me but the powers that be...
Anyway it looks to have heard what was in store for it and made a swift recovery and been spared.
Today they were sprucing it up with a short back and sides.
