Good Signs

At last my faith in my ability to get something to grow which might put food on the table has been slightly restored. After seeing most things which had been planted out being savaged by nature I decided to keep plants in the little greenhouse I have. So there are runner beans and lettuce which are outside with more coming on in pots in the greenhouse along with the tomatoes are french beans, cucumbers and more runners in pots. Also coming on are some cos lettuce which hopefully will survive to maturity.
Today J and I spent nearly 2 hours in the vets getting little Luce checked, microchipped, 2nd vaccination and a "cuddle" session with the head nurse (Luce not me!) whilst we talked through puppy training and the general do's and dont's.
Afterwards there was a further cuddle session with 3 other nurses whilst money was extracted and the information provided for the identification disc for her collar.
She came home absolutely exhausted....but hopefully not a bad experience for her. She did not make a sounder flinch through 2 injections or the kennel cough vaccine being squirted up her nose ( but I squirmed a bit at the size of the micro chip needle!!!
