Eryngium 'Miss Wilmott's Ghost'

Taken in the garden this afternoon. If I'm not careful these eryngiums will take over. They are named Miss Wilmott's Ghost after the nineteenth-century gardener, Ellen Wilmott, who liked to secretly scatter seeds of the plant in other people's gardens. A botanist gave me one plant from his garden and now I get a few every year.
