hiding in plain sight

Here is a little Nuthatch blending in with the tree trunk on which it was foraging for bugs.
Pretty hard for its predators to see!
But since it did not sense any danger, it was singing a loud and happy tune and I soon spotted it.
I do so enjoy a game of hide and seek!
