Royal Ascot

Due to a few too many 'all you can drink' glasses of bubbly, I didn't take too many quality photos of the famous Royal Ascot Races. I did, however, have an extremely fun day out! While making my way home the site of this lamppost and lights strung along the Thames caught my eye and I managed to capture this shot, which I thought worked out quite well considering the amount of sparkling wine I had consumed!

The best thing about my day was seeing my friend Swilly from home, who flew into London last night for a three week holiday in London and Europe. It was great to see a familiar face and catch up.
