A bird in the hand

Quite literally!

We are meant to be discouraging the feral pigeons from the garden.....hardly judging by this photo!!!!

We've been putting peanuts out for the squirrels but they're not content with that; they have fathomed how to get to the strawberries :-0

Mr A has been in the garden all day. He's salvaged lots of sandstone in various shapes & sizes from the driveway excavation and decided to put them to good use, so has been building some dry stone walls in various parts of the garden.

They were just rough edges before, so it looks more 'finished' now (I think so anyway).

The driveway is coming along nicely, the space out front looks huge now everything has been cleared.

They guy said he should have charged me double....I don't think so! ;-)
