That's cricket, I suppose.

It has been one of those weeks so far and I think it is only going to get worse! Too much going on and so many things buzzing around in my head that soon I know I am going to be dropping some balls.

Thomas has so much music stuff going on this week - he took his grade 8 exam in trumpet yesterday which has meant extra lessons over the past few weeks. He cannot relax quite yet as he has a piano exam coming up in 2 weeks time and he is also performing in music competitions at school - he has three semi-finals this week in the various categories so it is a very busy time musically speaking.

We have his Leaver's service on Friday morning at school followed by a Leaver's lunch and then that evening we are hosting a party at our home for the parents of the ski squad - our 'duty' as parents of the ski squad captain. I am not very good at entertaining and I think we are having about 20 people coming which is enough for me to start feeling frazzled.

Thomas had a cricket match today that was so boring - he did not get a chance to bat and I sat there for 3,5 hours thinking of all the things I could be doing at home. That's cricket, I suppose. I eventually got Thomas to pose for me as I liked the clouds behind him (slightly under-exposed the background and used some fill in flash for him) - and I was bored and taking photos was a great distraction.

Apologies for not getting around to all your journals for the past few days - I am looking at the images but not always having a chance to comment. It is just one of those weeks!
