Pétanque

Spent a few hours watching a game of pétanque before heading back to the reserve in the more endurable evening heat and learned quite a bit about the nature of the locals playing....

Decided I would prefer to be with the people I care for that in a commercialized holiday resort. Holidaying without the shared experiences of friends is not as pleasurable as I though it would be. I love the small rural towns I end up in. The lack of good Spanish ensure I have some very odd meals but I can live with that... just saying...
