Sparrow Hawk came to tea
Last nights photo session at Axmouth went very well, a lovely evening. Today Mrs M's sister came over and we went to River Cottage canteen (HFW of TV fame) which is right here in town and had a lovely lunch. I had pulled lamb and crushed new potatoes!!
So come tea time it was a toss up as what the blip would be tonight then blow me this young sparrow hawk flew down out side the patio door and sat there long enough for me to get the camera and change the lens and settings and get a few photographs.
No sparrows here for this youngster tonight and after some time off he flew.
Its always a thrill to get up close to these wonderful birds and a real treat to go with my tea. What marvelous camouflage his feathers give him
This one MUST warrant a "Large" look.
