Radiant Hydrangea

Went into Blackpool as had a few things to tick off the list today.

The Works came up trumps with some little wired paper flowers - tick. Then I went to an absolute Aladdins cave of a fabric emporium (bliss!) and eventually found some glitzy bits for the bouquets - another tick. A rather flustered young couple were being herded round by a mother-on-a-mission, who was comparing armfuls of rolls of pink satin for the wedding next year. The young man looked extremely relieved when his phone rang and he could beat a retreat outside!!!

Spent a happy half hour in the lingerie dept at Debenhams, with great success - another tick. After tea and crumpets at my favourite café I headed off to try and find some shoes (in anticipation of call from the wedding shop re dress being ready for fitting) - no tick there but you can't have it all!

The hydrangea is just coming into bloom in the front garden, and I wondered what it would look like using the same distortion filter that I used last night - here it is.
