In death they were not divided

WW1 cemetery at Godewaersvelde which was so beautifully kept with flowers lining the feet of the stones. The stones of German prisoners of war who also died at the nearby casualty clearing station had pointed rather than rounded tops. There were two rows of them and this one lay between the graves of two allied troops.
We were there for a jolly twinning event involving food and Flemish games!
