Streaky car lights

This weeks photography home work was slow shutter speeds - misty moving water or streaky car lights. I completely failed on the misty moving water but I have managed some not particulary attractive streaky car lights. For a first attempt I was quite pleased. Now I have to work out when to use this effect and where.
