Old Sketchbook
Many years before I got into the Moleskine habit I had this little green sketch book.
I bought it in Green & Stone one day, when I was staying in the house next to it in Cirencester. (Before they moved up the road)
It was a wonderful but expensive stay, having an art shop 10 feet from the door.
I used it for colour mixes, and botanical painting lessons. Very handy to be able to hold a leaf up against a green, and know exactly how I made it.
I rediscovered this book yesterday after seeing some others on blip. Another good side effect of blip. Old unloved things are springing to mind.
