Mother Spider

Not a monster in my garden, but a tiny wee creature that's been building a web under my pergola ( in a very convenient spot for me to sit and click ) for days . It's taken me several days to get this image, the camera is reluctant to focus this close, though the lens is well able to. More learning needed.
I'm fascinated at being able to see this creature in her intricate detail & watch her working at spinning and catching tiny prey. She's fortunately placed herself where I won't walk into her web.
