Local Wheat Field
The sun loungers still haven't arrived and appear to have gone missing in transit. JJ contacted the company we bought them from and the lady on the end of the phone rang the couriers, who said they couldn't find our parcel. She promised to chase it and keep us informed, which she did this morning, advising the parcel is still missing but arranging to courier two more sun loungers, which should arrive tomorrow morning, just in time for the rain. She couldn't have been more helpful.
MK this morning as JJ wanted a couple of pairs of shorts. I didn't need anything but still managed to buy a pair of mint coloured trousers and a longish (for me) jumper and matching scarf from Per Una, plus a walking map of north Cornwall in anticipation of our planned hike from Polzeath to Tintagel(ish) in September.
Just a blip of the wheat field at the back of the playing fields, looking up the hill. Yes, we do have miniscule hills in north Bedfordshire.
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments and hearts for yesterday's Bee Orchid (still prefer Jester Orchid).
