16.4C with sunny spells and some cloud. Light breeze.

Apothecary7's day off. We went in to M&S at city quay for coffee and a few groceries. On the way we went up to have a quick look at the huge painted Deperate Dan and Dennis the Menace that have appeared on the gable end of DC Thomson's building (on the Kingsway, Dundee) to advertise the Courier and the Evening Telegraph. Pictures were taken but converging verticals were prominent and not to my liking. Apothecary7 did get a good shot of the cartoon twosome.

When we got back home we took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk down to the beach. The tide was in and the new creel boat was moored in close to the shore beside the Catherine Anne ( the smaller white boat). Shamara II was out at sea.
