National Insect Week

It's National Insect Week this week! So I'm going to attempt blipping an insect from now until Sunday....

This shot was taken at work just before I came home in the early evening. Most of the students have gone home so it's incredibly quiet on campus. We have a large landscaped pond and stream running through the campus, so we do get our fair share of insects.

I think this is a Green Soldier-Fly (Chloromyia Formosa)??
