Close To Home

Living under one of the flight paths for London's Heathrow Airport often means that I get a glimpse of very familiar neighbourhoods shortly before landing. I've actually never seen my current house from the plane, either because I'm too busy getting ready for landing or because we are literally flying RIGHT over my house!

This view is of the nearby hamlet of Hare Hatch where my family lived for a few years when I was a teenager. Those who know the area may just make out the place which is close to my heart, Yeldall Manor, the Drug and Alcohol Rehab centre started by my parents many years ago.
