RAF Montrose
Work morning. Gardening afternoon. Decided to make a visit to Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre during lunchtime. Been there many times but thought I'd like my blip for the day to be something from there. It's a fantastic look into the past. It was an Air Training Station during WW1 - closed in 1920 and then opened again in 1936 ready for WW2. It closed again in the 1950s and is now a museum for Royal Air Force until end of WW2.
Unfortunately everything is so packed together that it is difficult to get a good shot, and so I have made their outside sign my blip. I think it must be an old radar ariel.
