The Water's Lovely
My first trip to this world heritage site at Bath where the water, heated by geothermal energy, bubbles up from a depth of between 2,700 and 4,300 metres.
The water entering the bath house is at a constant temperature of 46 °C and a flow rate of 1,170,000 litres a day.
The temple was constructed in 60-70 AD and the bathing complex was gradually built up over the next 300 years.
