MILL STREAM
After breakfast we drove to Torre Cider Farm to have a tasting and to buy cider for presents. We then went to Dunster Beach and had a walk along the coastline before going on to Dunster castle (a National Trust property.) As we were having our lunch the rain that had been forecast arrived. We made our way to the castle, stopping at the working mill. This is the stream that powered the mill.
The castle was impressive and there were certain rooms where you were encouraged to interact. You could relax and read provided newspapers in the morning room or help to add pieces to a jigsaw puzzle. You could play the grand piano if you wished. Mr. MS7 and a man from Holland had a game of snooker on a full sized snooker table in the games room, an experience that he will certainly remember.
A good day again, even though it rained in the afternoon.
