Sanctuary

A long day punctuated by meetings and really, really painful technical phone interviews. I've been really unlucky this time and have had to interrogate to two of the weakest candidates we've ever had. I felt so bad for them as they failed to answer question after question correctly, even really simple ones. Both of them knew how badly they'd done and I could hear the disappointment in their voices at the end before I said 'goodbye' and put the phone down. It's quite heartbreaking to put people through that.

Home to our wonderful garden, now complete with pond. It was pouring with rain but we both wandered round just the same. Wonderful.
