Patchwork

My life's a bit of patchwork at the moment, an odd assortment of unplanned placements, second hand experiences, old fabric and new, dark shades and light -yet stitched together the pattern speaks of history and connection. After driving 956 km today ( I'm a bit narked we didn't make it to 1000) I will be glad to snuggle under this bonny quilt stitched by our friend's granny many years ago.
