Woody

Finally I have captured a shot of Woody the juvenile woodpecker (not a very imaginative nickname I know, but as you weren't at primary school with me you may not understand the history behind my limited nicknaming capabilities).

The gymnastics involved in getting this shot were ridiculous, my legs ache from the balancing. He is so elusive, if he senses just an ounce of movement he is off.

To be honest my legs probably ache from yesterdays very slow, well meaning run. I am not sure if I should try again tonight or allow my legs a day to recover?!

Last bird shot for a while, time to move onto something new! Wishing you all a lovely weekend :-)
