Crossing la mesita

It was a nice temperature (26) crossing the mesita today. With no shade for 20k the journey could have been quite tough. It was beautiful, but honestly after 11 days of steady walking, my feet just hurt. Not from blisters or anything in particular, but nothing prepares you for this sustained effort. Siesta time. I'm officially obsessed with the afternoon siesta.
