Patience

I was paddling around the bay this afternoon when I spotted this fisherman patiently waiting for a bite. I carefully extracted my camera from its waterproof bag, gingerly balancing in my somewhat tippy water water kayak, because I liked the background (the restaurant that has live salsa music every Sunday is on the left) when shot from the other side of the bay. I saw the three pelicans approaching the boat, but when the fisherman looked my way I knew I had "the shot". I bit of horizon straightening in Lightroom (it is amazing how hard it is to hold the camera level while bobbing on the ocean) and here you go.
