Loch Linnhe

Last night we crossed the Corran Ferry, nearly home.

The road from the Corran ferry to Lochaline ferry has an alternative route from the main road taking us via Kingairloch, much of it alongside the loch and a personal favourite but not for the faint hearted when driving a large vehicle.

This is a camper friendly diversion with a plenty of spots for wild camping and we parked within metres of Loch Linnhe surrounded by 'views'. The above is looking in the direction of Corran ferry, Fort William and Ben Nevis. This morning there was a breeze to keep the midges away, some sunshine and beyond patches of snow from last winter.

Home again, and all looks good, the two pusscat boys have taken their time to welcome us eventually appearing but not too bothered. Obviously well looked after by their cat sitter.
