Dead Calm.

Rain cleared early, and we had a gorgeous walk to the cliff tops on Sanday. Walking through fields of wild orchids and bog cotton. Blue damselflies flitted over the pond lilies.

Too late to see the puffins though. Only empty burrows now..

Found some sanderling chicks on the shore and managed to get some photos.

Left Canna in the afternoon. Flat calm. Visibility very good. Motor on.

Slowed down to watch a basking shark. Uists on the horizon.

Arrived in Eriskay for the evening.

Blipping is a challenge for this holiday! First mobile signal in 5 days, and only very poor wifi at the hotel on Barra.

Back blipping will be slow!
