More mountain passes

As we climbed the Col de Saisses we could look back on Beaufort and forward to the spectacular Mt Blanc. We apologise if you are fed up with mountain shots, but we just can't stop admiring these majestic mountains. We don't cease to be amazed at the traffic on these narrow twisting roads, but we suppose the farm cheese has to reach the supermarkets somehow! I'm quite glad we won't be here in August when there will no doubt be nose to tail traffic travelling at hair-raising speed with barely a yard between each vehicle. We were astonished at the amount of new building going up - chalets, hotels, restaurants, and ski stations. Quite a difference from the last time we were here.
We are late posting tonight as the site has been without electricity for most of the day and unfortunately Wifi, unlike most caravan things, isn't dual fuel and doesn't work on gas!
