A very special scarecrow!

For the two weeks leading up to the Dormansland Village Carnival there is a display of scarecrows made by various organisations and some individuals dotted around the village. Our WI, who are celebrating our 50th year, has made a female scarecrow dressed in gold complete with shoes, handbag and jewellery and has been named Dora from Dormansland. Here she is in all her finery attached to the Village sign.
