I thought he'd blow a gasket...
as we drove down the road towards the farm with golf ball sized clots of mud flying up and pelting his "baby". It didn't help matters that I was laughing hysterically! Fortunately the next day became sunny and windy which dried up the road enough to become passable again.
Moose Jaw lies at the eastern edge of the Missouri Coteau, elevation 550 meters (1 ,800 feet). The Coteau separates the flat Regina Plain to the east, and gently rolling landscapes of the Alberta Plateau to the southwest.
The Regina Plain represents the bottom of a glacial lake that covered the area after the last Ice Age. It provides some of the best and most productive agricultural land in Saskatchewan. There are hundreds of lakes and pothole sloughs for wildlife and waterfowl.
City of Moose Jaw
Soils in the Moose Jaw area are a mix of clay loams, silty clays, and clays...indeed!
