Packed up our things and set off to visit Archaeolink. Had great fun marching about the site and pretending we had gone back in time. The wicker man was huge and dominated the skyline. It's believed that the Celts built huge human effigies like this, put people inside and burnt them as sacrifices. This man will be burnt in October, around Halloween and we are tempted to go back and watch.
