Moussaka
It's ages since I made a moussaka. Now I know why.... it took me 2 hours.
It was a combined Delia and Gordon recipe. In the 1980's Delia required 1 lb ground lamb to serve 4. In 2010 Gordon required 2 lbs for 4. Portion size has grown. I used 1 lb and it fed 3 of us with salad and we have another 3 portions left.
All in all well worth the effort.
Violet update. She has settled in well, is using the litter box and there is a lot less hissing and growling today :)
