art deco duck...

which wasn't really - my 1st choice

but - sometimes - don't you find - that's how it goes? you have something all figured out - then bam! something else comes along - and gobsmacks you in the face - it's what happened with this little duck - he was so unassuming - floating along in the blue water - i think when some slight raindrops - began to fall - they created this effect - in the background - as i was taking his portrait - then on the upload - i barely had to edit it at all - and this art deco - appearance happened - the way the sunlight interacted - with the water - it all just came together - i ended up sort of liking it - well - i guess i really liked it - a lot - so it ended up taking over what i originally had planned

the other thing? it may never occur again - that's the way it goes, too - the chance you take - we always need to go with what we're drawn to - i have learned that - with my photos - 'cuz then i'll have no regrets - and then, my friends - it will always be...
