PROM

It's prom! I was so excited.

Most of the morning I looked at Duke things and got pumped.

12:30 make up. The woman was really nice. I went with her suggestions. It was a lot but I liked it.

2:30 hair. Dorothy rocked. I loved my hair. She said I looked like Taylor Swift. Yes, world, short hair can look hot.

I got dressed, jewelry, hugged Courtney.

Picked Dan up and headed to the Hamlet for pre-prom. It was super hot. I felt bad for the gentlemen in their tuxes. More pictures at the school. Then, dad drove me, Eunice, Dan, Kristen, and Kimia to prom.

We had cocktail hour. Then, the party got started. Part of the reason prom was so awesome was that everyone was up dancing. My friends and I had our own little section and were seated at the same table. The fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate! Jara introduced me to her date who is going to Duke. That was nice of her. Dan and I slow danced. Baw. We also went to the photo booths. It seemed like all of my friends had a great time.

I was especially happy not to be doing the after prom cruise just because I was so exhausted. We came home around midnight. Courtney was up packing lol. It took me a while to get off all the make up, and then I somehow slept even though I was riding a great high.

Prom was fun.
